Overview
Linkforce delivered the replacement of two critical conveyor truss structures supporting Conveyor YCV213 at Rio Tinto's Yandicoogina mine. The project involved the fabrication, transport and installation of new 18m and 27m truss modules, alongside associated civil, structural, mechanical and electrical works, to restore the long-term integrity and reliability of this key ore handling asset.
Delivered through an integrated approach spanning fabrication, logistics, installation and commissioning, the works were completed within a planned shutdown environment.

Outcome
Linkforce successfully completed the fabrication, transport, installation, commissioning and handover of two replacement conveyor truss structures supporting Conveyor YCV213. Supported by 111 tonnes of structural steel fabrication and associated civil, mechanical, electrical and access works, the project was delivered within the scheduled shutdown window while minimising operational disruption. The completed works restored the structural integrity of a critical ore handling asset, improving reliability, extending service life and supporting the safe and efficient movement of ore through the processing circuit.
