Installation of idler frames to a tolerance of +/- 2mm, over 4.8 kilometres
7 months, multiple shuts and 65 000 hours on site saw Linkforce successfully complete the project, recordable incident and injury free.
Project delivered and completed on time, despite the occurrence of two cyclones and the global COVID-19 pandemic during execution.
FMG engaged Linkforce to fabricate and install overland conveyor CV006, the continuation of CV005 at the companies’ Cloudbreak operations. These operations have continually moved west from the original plant location which has created the need for
overland conveyors.
This project contained months of extensive planning and execution of Civil, SMP, E&I and
Transport works.
Linkforce successfully negotiated some substantial challenges to deliver the project on time and with no safety or quality concerns.
