Value Added The scope of this structural, mechanical and piping (SMP) / electrical and instrumentation (E&I) installation project, encompassed the following key project deliverables:
The dismantling of existing crushing facilities; inclusive of hopper, apron feeder, sizer and chutes.
Completion of specified surveying requirements to verify alignment with existing structures.
Completion of all minor site earthworks.
Relocation of all major components from the Run Of Mine (ROM) area to the western crushing work front.
Assemble and installation of new portable hopper crushing facilities, inclusive of 300 tonne structural steel, apron feeder, feed hopper, sizer and discharge conveyor.
The scope of works required the execution of high risk activities i.e. entering active mining areas.
All risk mitigation strategies were monitored, controlled and continuously audited through the diligent and experienced leadership team.
The conclusion and commissioning of the project recorded zero injuries to personnel, zero environmental harm, zero quality assurance issues and / or faults identified therefore ultimately delivering the project on time and within budget.
